As of July 2020 we have been safely providing emergency dental treatment for patients and while we are still prioritising dental emergencies and toothache /infections ,we are now also taking bookings for routine dental health checks.
There are significant changes to the practice and how we can treat you safely so please bear with us as we can see fewer patients per day and need to maintain social distancing between patients.
Our hygienist is providing hand scaling and polishing mainly.
If you have been abroad and need to quarantine on your return kindly inform us if you have an appointment and we will reschedule it.
When you come to the practice for your appointment (needs to be arranged by phone or email only-patients are kindly requested not to come to the practice)
Please wear a mask and bring your own pen.
If you have a cold or flu like symptoms, headache for 14 days, loss of taste or smell for 14 days or have been in contact with anyone with Covid 19 virus please do not come to the practice
If you had an appointment during the lockdown and it was cancelled due to Covid 19 please bear with us as we are working through the appointments and we will call to reschedule your appointment. You are of course welcome to call us to book an appointment .
For your convenience you can also email us if phone line is busy and/or you can leave a message and we will contact you soonest
We will ask about Covid 19 symptoms and there will be a form to complete at the practice which takes 5-10 minutes. When we call you we will reassess.
Coming to the practice
Please come alone unless accompanying a child or vulnerable adult and with minimal belongings.
Please note our toilet facilities are not available and we request you to visit the bathroom at home before you come.
On attendance at the practice
We will take your temperature and if it is above 37.5 C we will reschedule your appointment.
You will be provided with hand sanitiser and prior to treatment you will be given a pre-rinse with diluted hydrogen peroxide solution.
The staff will be wearing additional PPE like gowns/aprons/face shields and you will not be able to see our smiles ; however we still care about you
Payments are taken by card only through the cough/sneeze guard
Initially dental emergencies/toothache and routine dental health checks and where necessary routine treatments -we will discuss this with you.
Due to additional costs of PPE we have raised prices including the hygienist fee. Please enquire at reception
Patients on the Practice Plan will still benefit from reduced treatment fees. Patients who pay per visit can join the Dental Plan for savings as a loyal patient
